A family dedication is a promise that parents make before God, their family, and the church to raise their child in the Christian faith.

 

The dedication service provides parents the opportunity to publicly express their personal commitment to follow Jesus and commit to spiritually nurture their child to know and experience God's grace and truth.

 

The service is also a time for the congregation to promise publicly that we will support the parents while they raise their child.
