Join us for a Night of Gratitude,
a special one-night event where we'll come together in-person to worship and express gratitude to our Heavenly Father for all He has done this year, even in the midst of challenging and difficult times.

Saturday, November 21, 2020
Southview Community Church
2620 Reston Parkway, Herndon, VA
This the first step of reopening our buildings and we're excited to worship with you in person. You can learn more about all of the safety measures that will be implemented by reviewing our FAQ’s below.
Will Southview be open every weekend?
Not yet. This is an in-person, one night only event. This is not a return to weekly worship services (yet) - that's coming when our Elders determine that we can do so safely for all involved.
I’m not comfortable returning to church yet. Can I continue to be a part of the online experience?
Of course! Our weekend worship experiences will continue to be streamed every Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 10am at southview.online.church, Facebook, YouTube, Apple TV, Roku, and the Southview App.
Will Southview Community Church be limiting the capacity this event?
Yes, we are limiting our capacity and spacing seats accordingly between families to ensure social distancing in our worship center. We ask that every individual practice social distancing while on the Southview campus.
Will I need to wear a mask?
Yes, masks must be worn throughout the entire event. We are closely watching local, state, and federal guidelines to ensure all recommended safety precautions are implemented to ensure your safety.
How is Southview Community Church cleaning its facilities?
We will conduct regular cleanings between gatherings to ensure proper sanitation. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the worship center.
Will restrooms be open?
Yes, all restrooms will be open and will undergo routine cleaning.
Will Southview Community Church be screening those who attend in person?
Temperature checks will be required for all our staff, volunteer teams, and people in attendance at this event. We ask everyone to use good judgment: if you are feeling ill or have a family member who is feeling ill, please stay home and participate in our online weekend experience.
Will there be family ministry available for my children?
No, our family ministry activities will not be held at this event. Our goal is to open our family ministry wing when we can provide a safe environment for your children while you attend the worship experience. Check out the latest family ministry videos for our elementary and preschool students on our website, the Southview app, and Facebook!
