I’m convinced that we need time abiding in Him daily. If I start each day with Him as my Number 1 priority and end each day spending time in thanksgiving for the many blessings of the day, I’m better able to remain in Him, stay focused on Him, live in Him.
Do you abide in Him each day? Do you make Him a priority that’s even more important than work, chores, entertainment, social media, or snacking? Kids and family can keep us busy so include them in your devotional time abiding in our Lord. Do we really believe that Jesus is our Vine? Do we really believe Jesus when He says, “Abide in Me and My words”? Lord Jesus, help us to make You #1 in our lives each day. May our spirits long to spend time with you. You are our Vine and we are Your branches. Amen.
