William Attaway became the third senior pastor of Southview Community Church in 2006. Prior to coming to Southview as the associate pastor in 2004, he served as a staff minister at North Richland Hills Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, as well as churches in Mississippi and Alabama. Pastor William is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He is a graduate of William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS (B.A. in Religion) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX (M.A. in Theology). His seminary studies focused primarily in the areas of Old Testament and Hebrew studies. William and his wife Charlotte were married in 1997, and they have two daughters: Erin, born in 2004, and Allison, born in 2007.

In previous ministry settings, Pastor William has most enjoyed developing programs for leadership training. He believes and tries to model that a pastor's job is not to do everything himself, but to "equip the saints for the work of service". Pastor William's primary spiritual gifts are teaching and administration. He enjoys reading, traveling, playing golf, and working with computers. He also teaches New Testament Survey for Itawamba Community College’s distance learning program. The Attaways homeschool their daughters, striving to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. His favorite verse of Scripture is Romans 8:31 - "What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Andy grew up in Northeast Indiana and spent the first 29 years of his life there. He became a follower of Christ in 1999, with the guidance of a former Sunday school teacher. Andy met Krissy, his wife, at Huntington University, and they married in 2002. They have two daughters: Elina, born in 2006, and Eva, born in 2009. Andy graduated from Huntington University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and a minor in Business Management.

In late 2007, Andy felt the leading to begin full-time ministry in worship arts. He served 3 years as the worship leader at Life Church in Huntington, Indiana. In October of 2011, Andy joined the Southview family as the Worship and Arts Pastor. Andy approaches the worship and arts ministry with a broken spirit, remembering Isaiah 6:5 as his reference point – "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."

At home, Andy enjoys spending time with his three “girls”, watching and playing sports, and ‘googling’ sports and tech facts for no purpose whatsoever.

Brittany is serving the church as a one-year Worship and Outreach Ministry resident. She and her husband Jonathan moved to the Herndon area in May and will be serving the church until May 2012. She helps to bolster the worship ministry through assisting the Worship and Arts Pastor in planning services and singing and playing keys on the worship team. She also helps with various projects and planning for the church’s Faith in Action ministry team.

She has a passion for music as well as for Worshiping our Creator God. She believes that our every day lives are to be an act of worship to our Creator with a grateful heart for all He has done for us because this is all He desires. Two scriptures that are included in her philosophy are John 4:24, “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”, and Hebrews 12:28-29, “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”
